How much does an AI avatar cost?

One avatar is one Nano Banana image: 12 Gems, square (1:1), which is the shape most profile pictures and stream overlays need. It does not need a paid plan, and a new account starts with 30 Gems, enough for two avatars. Flux Schnell at 3 Gems also accepts a selfie and offers other aspect ratios, but it keeps less of the original face. The cost is shown before you generate, and credits come back if a generation fails.

How do you get an avatar that still looks like you?

Start from a sharp, front-facing selfie in even light. Ask for one style at a time and end the prompt with what must stay: 'keep my face, hair and expression as in the photo'. Compare the result with the original; if the face drifted, run it again or soften the style words. Two or three runs usually give one you want to keep.

What it can't do

It restyles your own photo; it does not invent an avatar of someone else from a description, and you should not upload other people's photos without their consent. The result is a still image: there is no talking or animated avatar, no video avatar for streams, and no guarantee that every style keeps your exact features. Output is square only.
