Image to Video AI: Turn a Still Photo Into Motion
Upload one photo and describe the motion you want: a camera move, wind, water or a small gesture.
Updated

How it works
Upload one photo
Portraits, landscapes and product shots all work.
Describe the motion
Say what should move: a slow pan, wind in the hair, waves, a small gesture.
Preview and save
Watch the clip, then save it or run it again with different wording.
Tips for a clean result
A sharp, well-composed photo with a clear subject animates more predictably than a busy or low-resolution one. If your photo has a person in it, a front-facing or slightly angled portrait gives more natural results than an extreme angle or partial face.
What it can't do
This adds plausible motion to a still photo; it doesn't know what actually happened before or after the photo was taken, so the movement is a generated interpretation, not a recovered memory. Very cluttered scenes or photos with several overlapping subjects can produce less coherent motion than a simple, single-subject shot.
Questions about Image to Video AI
Do I need special software to turn a photo into a video?
No. Everything runs in the web app: add a photo, pick Kling 3.0, Veo 3 or Wan, and describe the motion in words. The credit cost is shown next to the model before you generate, and there is nothing to install.
What kind of motion does it add to a photo?
Whatever you describe: a slow pan or zoom, wind or water, or a small gesture for a portrait. There is no preset list; the motion comes from your prompt, so name one clear movement. If the result is not what you wanted, change the wording and run it again.
Does it work well on photos of people?
Yes, portraits are one of the most common uses — a front-facing or slightly angled photo with a clear, well-lit face gives the most natural-looking motion once animated, compared with a heavily cropped or side-angled shot of the same person.
How long is the resulting video?
Kling 3.0 makes 5 or 8 second clips, Veo 3 makes 6 or 8 second clips with audio, and Wan makes 5 second clips. Kling costs 80 or 120 gems, Veo 1 or 2 cinema credits, Wan 40 gems. For a longer piece, generate a few clips from different photos and join them in any video editor.
