How much does AI chat cost?

Chat is priced per message, not per month. Fast models (GPT-4o mini, Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite, DeepSeek V4 Flash) cost 1 Gem; smart models (GPT-5, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Haiku 4.5, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Grok 4.3) cost 5 Gems; GPT-5 Pro and Claude Opus 4.7 cost 25 Gems and need a paid plan. On the free plan a 5-Gem answer stops at 1,024 output tokens, on a paid plan at 2,048. A new account starts with 30 Gems: thirty fast messages or six smart ones. There is no daily message cap; the balance is the limit, and plans and Gem packs are on the pricing page.

What can you do in the chat?

Draft and rewrite text, summarize a pasted document, explain or debug code, brainstorm, translate, and ask follow-up questions in the same thread. Most models accept an attached image and can describe or read it; DeepSeek V4 Flash is text only. The same composer switches to image mode (Flux, Nano Banana) and video mode (Kling 3.0, Veo 3, Wan 2.5), so a chat about an idea can end in a picture or a clip without changing apps.

GPT-4o mini or Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite for quick questions at 1 Gem. For writing, analysis or code, GPT-5, Claude Sonnet 4.6 or Gemini 2.5 Pro at 5 Gems. Grok 4.3 is a 5-Gem alternative with a more direct style. Ask the same question to two of them and compare; the cost is shown before each message.

Does the chat remember earlier messages?

Within one thread, yes: follow-up questions use the earlier messages as context, and you can switch models mid-thread. A new chat starts with empty context. Long threads on the free plan may be trimmed to fit the model's limit; the pricing page explains the output caps.

Can I upload an image to the chat?

Yes, with every model except DeepSeek V4 Flash, which is text only. Attach a photo or screenshot and ask the model to describe, read or check it. To change or generate a picture, switch the composer to image mode, where Nano Banana costs 12 Gems and Flux Schnell 3.

Is there a daily message limit?

No daily cap. Each message costs 1, 5 or 25 Gems depending on the model, and your balance is the only limit. On the free plan, 5-Gem answers stop at 1,024 output tokens and the 25-Gem models are unavailable; a paid plan raises the cap to 2,048 and unlocks them.

Can I use AI chat for work?

Yes, for drafting, summarizing, outlining and code review. Chats are processed by the model's maker through its API, and UniqAI's data is hosted in the EU. Keep confidential company data out of prompts unless your workplace has approved it, and treat answers as drafts to check.
