One look is one Nano Banana image: 12 Gems, square (1:1). A set of four looks, the size of an app pack, is four runs, 48 Gems. A new account starts with 30 Gems, enough for two looks, and Nano Banana does not need a paid plan.

How do you make four portraits that feel like one set?
Keep the theme words the same and change one detail per run, so the four images match but are not copies.
